General Responsibilities/Job SummaryThe Personal Banker II will be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, addressing customer inquiries, and displaying excellent customer service skills in an efficient and professional manner.
The Personal Banker II will identify opportunities to expand current banking relationships and engage prospects to earn new bank customers.
Responsible for opening new deposit accounts, performing account maintenance, initiating sales focused conversations, and completing consumer non-real estate loan applications.
Provides excellent customer service adhering to the WOW Customer Service standards of performance in all sales and service interactions.
Accurately processes customer transactions including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, general ledger entries, account maintenance, new deposit account openings and consumer non-real estate loan applications.
Ensures that all balancing, and reporting activities are completed on a timely basis.
Uses acquired knowledge and experience to acts as back up to the branch team to assist in the preparation of monthly reporting, balancing and other daily activities.
Seeks service to sales opportunities out of customer interaction and transaction processing.
Proactively identifies and solicits cross-sell opportunities as well as develops new business, using promotions and customer outreach.
Handles service requests and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
Oversees the branch in the absence of the Community Officer Manager/Assistant Community Office Manager.
Provides support and/or guidance for corresponding duties, activities, and responsibilities to branch team.
Adheres to all bank policies and federal regulations including, but not limited to, Currency Transaction Reporting, Check Cashing Policy, Confidentiality of Customer Information, Cash Management, CIP (Customer Information Program), and BSA (Bank Secrecy Act).
Keeps current on Products and Services offered by the bank.
Performs other duties as assigned.

College Degree or at least two years' work experience in a banking position
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communicationSound judgmentStrong math skillsStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees and types of customersPC proficiencyAbility to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to maintain a team-oriented work environmentAbility to work a flexible work schedule to include Saturday
Experience:
At least two (2) years of experience working in customer service, sales or related banking positionRequired Certification/Licenses:
NMLS preferred, Valid Driver's LicenseTravel Requirements:
Flexible schedule with localized travel within the bank's footprint; travel to and works at Branches as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
